Visiting this pub was a delightful experience! I went with my family on a rainy Sunday, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to escape the dreary weather. The pub offers a lovely menu with traditional meals and seasonal specials, and I opted for the shepherd’s pie, which was hearty and very tasty. I also appreciated the variety of drinks available, especially their selection of local ales. The ambiance was inviting, with a nice balance between lively chatter and comfortable seating. One minor thing to note is that the waiting time for food was a little longer than expected, but the warm service and friendly staff made up for it. Overall, I had a great time, and I can’t wait to come back for another family outing!

I can't say enough good things about my experience here! As someone who loves exploring local pubs, this place really stands out. Firstly, the decor has a charming, rustic feel that really enhances the experience. I particularly loved the wooden beams and the eclectic mix of furniture. The drink selection was impressive, with a variety of ales, wines, and spirits. I ordered the house special burger, and it was cooked to perfection – juicy and flavourful, with fresh toppings. The staff were exceptionally attentive, ensuring that we were satisfied throughout our meal. I did notice that the service slowed down a bit as it got busier, which is understandable on a Saturday night. I would suggest they consider having more staff during peak hours. Still, I left with a big smile on my face and am looking forward to my next visit. This is definitely a top spot for food and drinks in town!

I had a wonderful time at this pub last weekend! The atmosphere was just perfect, with a warm and inviting vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed their selection of craft beers - I tried a local IPA that was simply delightful. The only downside was that the seating could be a bit cramped during peak hours, but it adds to the pub experience, doesn’t it? Overall, a fantastic place to unwind with friends after a long week. I'll definitely be back soon!
